Applying IPv6 Immediately

I came across a treatise from Larry Roberts, of ARPANET acclaim, on the evolution of IPv6 and lessons learned from his past experiences. I think his thoughts on the economic & social impact of IPv6 are right on, and someone in Washington should get on the ball here. Rather than wasting time playing games with telecoms lobbyists nitpicking over the antidiluvian Telecom Act, lets look to the future and worry about long-term issues in access. Voice is an app, let it be. The industry's fucked; let our commercial system sort itself out. Broadband is a critical service that needs attention, and it's needed now.
